Week 1 June 29 - July 3 Art and Culture (ILA Teachers)

Age: Preschool - Kindergarten $280

Explore, learn, imagine and create! The young artists will travel to China, they will discover and learn exciting new things while having fun! The aspiring artists will use several artistic techniques and different tools to realize their works.

Week 1 June 29 - July 3:Mad Science: Moving with Science (Mad Scientists)

Age: Kindergarten and up $300

Decipher the world all around us in this exciting camp designed just for your young scientist! Campers will develop their earth awareness and explore this world as junior naturalists before heading for space as junior astronauts. Campers will also explore just why their big toe is important and how to find their center of gravity when they investigate the science of sports!

Week 2: July 6 - 10: Art et Crafts (ILA Teachers)

Age: Preschool - Kindergarten $280

Explore a rotating buffet of art & craft media, art-related stories, games and construction toys. Imaginative open-ended activities stimulate children's creativity and encourage independent thinking!

Week 2 : July 6 - 10 Baking Camp (ILA Teachers)

Our Baking Camp will focus on French Baking. Kids in this camp will learn how to bake different French baking goods from baking French Baguette, Pate feuilletee to Eclair,Madeleine,...

Week 3 : July 13 - 17 Sensory Camp (ILA Teachers)

Age: Preschool - Kindergarten $280

This summer, your kids will take a dive into sensory play. They will get to make different types of sensory benefiting activities which are shown to support learning. They will explore different textures, manipulation of items, scents and so much more.

Week 3 July 13 - 17 Learning Spanish Through Creativity (LEGO camp)

Age: Kindergarten and up $280

This camp will be focusing on architectural, environmental, and transportation vocabulary in Spanish, while the children explore their imagination through Legos. Legos gives the ability to learn a variety of vocabulary and sentence structures step by step. This camp engages children to demonstrate their creativity and enforce their desire to speak Spanish. 

Spanish speaking proficiency is not required.

Week 4 July 20 - 24 Mad Science: In the Garden

Age: Preschool - Kindergarten $280

A fun and hands-on introduction to basic environmental science. Your budding scientist will explore how living things grow and how they interact with the environment around them. They will discover how, why and where things grow, how weather affects our gardens, the basic science of seeds all while exploring leaves, flowers and the creatures that live in our gardens

Week 4 July 20 - 24: Yoga and movement (ILA Teachers)

Age: Kindergarten and up $280

Practicing Yoga together is an amazing way to strengthen the body, mind and creative pathways that will nurture children for life. In Monsieur Michaels Summer Yoga Camp children will move and play with poses they learn daily through short vinyasa cycles and pose education. Through understanding the motions they perform, children will be able to grasp greater body and spacial awareness while being connected to ancient and historic energy. Mentally, learning these movements will educate them on fun through motion leading to greater emotional development and relaxation techniques. To commence the camp, children will learn the history of yoga and how it can be found in everyday life, even without movement.

Week 5 : July 27 - 31 Music and Fairy Tales (ILA Music Teacher)

Age: Preschool-Kindergarten $280

Students will use French sounds, syllables and words to create songs inspired by fairytales. Students will learn about different styles of music from around the world. They will develop their sense of music and practice improvisation through games, music, percussion, dance and songs.

Semaine 5 July 27 - 31 Moving with Science and Junior Scientists

Ages : Kindergarten and up $280

Week 6, Aug 3 - 7: Once upon a time a Puppet

Ages: Preschool - Kindergarten $280

Treat your child to the wonderful world of puppet-making (and to the special comedic and musical gifts of M Marc)! The children will make  puppets from everyday objects, learn how to make it "come alive," and then use them to invent and act out theatrical and musical roles with each other.

Week 6, August 3 - 7: Adrenaline Outdoor Sports Camp

Ages: Kindergarten and up $280

Get out here and play, get out here and run, get out here and be free. Feel the adrenaline. Explore fast paced games and activities. All kinds of different sports will be offered from basketball to soccer, trail running, exercise training, dance workout. We will be immersed in nature learning tracking and survival skills and learning archery. We will be creating land art in order to mark our presence in a natural way.  This camp is a perfect way to encourage fitness and appreciate the outdoors.

Week 7, August 10 - 14: Knights and Pirates Camp (ILA Music Teacher)

Ages: Kindergarten and up $280

This week will be dedicated to the discovery of knights and pirates. Creating, inventing, playing and learning will be the main purpose of this camp. We will immerse ourselves in the art of heraldry as we study suits of armor and build our own shield. We will familiarize the children with the knight's code of honor as we listen to tales and legends.We will learn about pirates and pirate ships as we sing pirate songs, participate in treasure hunts, follow maps, and decipher coded messages.

Class taught in French and English.

Week 7, Aug 10 - 14: Mad Science. In The Garden

Ages: Preschool - Kindergarten $300

Week 8, Aug 17 - 21: Movement and Props

Ages: Preschool - Kindergarten $280

This camp will be dedicated to develop the creativity of the child through all kinds of music and movement.

The children will discover the way to move after being inspired by the shape of an usual object

They will learn through movement the structure of the musical piece and explore the unlimited way to tell a short story through music (sound effects ,classical music,nursery rhymes.

They will learn a few tricks of the foley artists (person who used whatever they can to create the noises uses to make sound effects in movies)

Week 8, Aug 17 - 21: Outdoor Adventure Camp (ILA Teacher)

Ages: Kindergarten and up $280

Let’s explore this beautiful world around us! This is a camp for the truly adventurous. The children will be going on hikes, bird watching, building a mega fort, learning archery, learning how to build a filter with charcoal and sand.   and much much more. They will have the pleasure of a visit from an animal expert who will be bringing several animals to the school and sharing information about them. This camp will motivate students to think critically in the outdoors and practice new skills.
